PostHeaderIcon foxL V2 Bluetooth Soundbar

Well, nothing much has changed here with the foxL V2 Bluetooth Soundbar, but it is still an interesting $199.99 device which proves its bark is worse than its bite.

PostHeaderIcon TDK Sound Cube

The TDK Sound Cube brings new meaning to “surround sound”, that’s for sure. It should be called “surrounded sound” instead, since the cube that you see on the right should find a happy audience regardless of where they are seated – as long as the crowd size is right, of course. Right now up for pre-order, the £299.99 TDK Sound Cube measures just 25.5cm³, making it the smallest in its range, but it is no pushover where performance levels are concerned.

PostHeaderIcon The SuperTooth Bluetooth Stereo Speaker produces 28 watts of wireless power

I got a chance to meet up with Supertooth at CTIA Spring 2011 in Orlando last month, and this was where I first encountered the Disco.

I finally got a chance to try it out at home, and synced it to my phone via Bluetooth. In a matter of seconds, I was listening to 28 watts of sound total (one 12 watt subwoofer and two 8 watt stereo drivers). By the way, if you can’t figure out the Bluetooth, the Supertooth Disco comes with a cord that plugs into the headphone jack of your tablet, phone, or laptop, and you will be wired to the speaker.

PostHeaderIcon iTamtam offers a different take on a speaker dock

Now this is definitely an interesting looking iPod speaker dock that some of you might actually mistake it for a chair of sorts. Known as the iTamtam, it will cost a rather pricey £169.99, bringing along with it a quartet of 11W titanium tweeters and a rather beefy 25W subwoofer. This means this rather impressive looking designer speaker is no slouch when it comes to performance, fully capable of bringing the house down when the situation calls for it – of course, a packed party will not get any justice with this since you will need much more aural firepower then, but for average home use, the iTamtam shouldn’t be discounted. Heck, it doubles up as a stool when not in use as a speaker dock, so that alone earns plenty of brownie points in our books.
